NARS SATiN LiP PENCiL

By now, you already heard or own one of the many who are obsessed by the Nars Lip Pencil. I, myself, has a bit of obsession of the Nars Satin Pencil. The Nars Lip Pencil has three finishes which are Satin, Velvet, and Matte. As my lips are dry in which I never fail to mention in almost all my blogpost and you might be tired listening to this moaning, the Satin Lip Pencil is my number one choice. My first taste of the lip pencil is Yu and that snowballed my obsession.

THE BUDGET SHEER LiPSTiCKS

When the Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks arrived at my doorstep, I had quiet a mix reaction. I am a big lipstick lover that any new releases always get me so excited. On the other hand, Body Shop is not really my first destination when I am looking for make-ups so I really don't know what to expect. I am a big fan of Body Shop's skincare products but never of their make-ups. To feed my curiosity, I think after I opened the parcel, I started trying out the lipsticks.

HELLO CHEEKBONES

As a fan of contouring but never good at it, I am always on the lookout for new contouring products that will make my life & contouring easier. When Clinique anounced their new Hello Cheekbones collection, I am quiet excited to see what the brand has to offer. Clinique's Hello Cheekbones aims to offer two easy ways to enhance the bone structure that we are born with. In other words, it's contouring and highlighting made easy.

BLOGROLL: SHARiNG THE LOVE

I've seen a few posts like this and I wanted to do one for a long time. It took me some time to complete the list as there are so many amazing bloggers. My list doesn't include the big and usual ones not because I don't adore them. I love the big bloggers to bits but they have been on the limelight most of the time. I think there are also other amazing bloggers that deserves the spotlight. They are of no particular order other than the list is alphabetically arranged. MARSALA BEAUTY EDiT

After Pantone announced that Marsala will be the colour of the year for 2015, I was really excited. 2014's Radiant Orchid hasn't excite me to be quiet honest. Marsala is describe as earthy wine red. I love its rich tone and I think it flatters all skintone. I rounded up some marsala-coloured beauty products in my stash.

ZOEVA NEW EiGHT BRUSHES

To beauty fanatics, I think by now you already have seen photos loitering everywhere about the Zoeva New 8 Brushes. Yes, that is right. Zoeva has added 8 new brushes to their already good range of brushes. That alone makes me so excited. Receiving a parcel with the brand's distinct box has taken my excitement to a new level. With the new 8 brushes, Zoeva has now a range of 50 professional makeup tools. Impressive isn't it. I jotted down a quick rundown and my thoughts on the new brushes.

THE DOLCE VITA

January is the time when I usually feel so poor due to the sales. This time however, no sales had me so convinced to spend some money. Safe to say, my bank balance is quiet happy and so am I. On the other note but still related, I have been lusting seriously over the Charlotte Tilbury Color Coded Palette. Last Christmas, Santa has been really generous and the Dolce Vita has been wrapped up nicely for me.

PLAYLiST: CURRENTLY LiSTENiNG

I am a big fan of music although I don't claim to have a good taste in it. My music preferences varies and mostly depending on my moods. I am a big fan of spotify and creates endless playlists. Looking back in what songs I mostly listened to in 2015, it is a variety of old and new ones. PS Please do recommend songs that you have been currently inlove with.

CLARiNS iNSTANT LiGHT LiP BALM PERFECTOR

I know it is still winter but for the beauty world, spring collections are starting to emerge. The Clarins Garden Escape Spring Collection launched last Monday, the 12th of January 2015. In the collection, I am most excited about the Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector. Does it ring a bell? It is the sister of the much-hyped Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in which I am overly-obsessed as well.

THE CHANEL JERSEY BLUSH

The Chanel Jersey Blush came as a nice gift last Christmas. I am always lusting over Chanel cosmetics but for some unknown reasons I don't own any of their blushes. I am forever smitten with Chanel like millions of ladies around the globe. Finding one under the tree with my name on it is reason enough to be delighted.

THE POST-FESTiViTY PAMPER

I think by now, reality has settled back to our lives. Gone are the food comas, the wonderful days lounging in pjs, and all the excitement for the Festive Season. If you are like me who had a manic festive season, all you could think probably by now is a good pamper session. I have been doing a lot of pamper sessions for myself and in the comfort of my own place. Instead of treating yourself and spending moolahs in spas, you could have a nice pamper treat without costing too much money.

MY DiPTYQUE LOVE-AFFAiR

My love for Diptyque candles just started a year ago. I really didn't want to cave-in to the hype as the price is somehow bordering to ridiculous to my standard. But there is also something in their candles that makes you want to have it. The minimal packaging looks chic and a perfect example of less is more. Then you try one candle, find out that its scent still lingers for quiet a long time and you become obsessed with them. You finally get the jest as to why it is such a cult product. I will give you the rundown to some of my favourite Diptyque candles.

NEW YEAR, NEW SCENT

The Melvita L'Or Bio Eau de Toilette came as a nice surprise for the new year. After all the heady and rich Christmas-y scent, my nostrils are searching for something that is new to the senses. Something that is light yet still appropriate for the cold weather. When the L'Or Bio came in my doorstep, I am so excited to try it. It already looks promising and beautiful on the packaging alone.

THE ONE DUPE

Raise your hand when last year, and probably until now, you are one of the many who went crazy for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. I know I do and the fact that I own some of the powders from the brand is a statement enough. My favourite amongst the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder is the Dim Light and it has been on constant use. We cannot deny the fact however that despite it gives a brilliant finish, the Hourglass' price is on a steep side. Imagine my joy when the Make-Up Revolution Radiant Light Powder arrived in my post. Now we all know that Make-Up Revolution is known for making make-ups that great alternatives for cult high-end products which heightened my curiosity to try the powders right away.

THE POST-HOLiDAY CATCH-UP

I know it is crazy going shopping the weekend after all the festivities but then things happened like friends wanting to go out shopping and they are so good in persuading that you end up saying yes. I am also itching to see my gal friends so there I was, out and about during one of the busiest weekend over the Christmas season. It was not that bad actually. My friends and I tried to avoid the rush by going out early and keep my self going with coffee, endless coffee.

THiNGS i'VE LEARNT iN 2014

First and foremost, Happy New Year everyone! For the first day in 2015, I would like to give 2014 one final wave. 2014 has been a great year to me personally. There are some sad and trying times but most are good. 2014 had taught me a lot of things in which I think helped me to become a better person and more equiped for 2015.
