SiMPLE NEW YEAR'S EVE DESSERT iDEA

Cherries-Dipped-In-White-Chocolate-Recipe

I know that most of us are still in food coma and before we can recover, New Year's Eve is just a few days ahead. At the moment, I just want a break from the rich and decadent Christmas food. I just want something that is somewhat refreshing yet still worthy to be displayed on the table. Whilst on Pinterest, I saw several dessert ideas and what really caught my attention is the Cherries Dipped in White Chocolate. It is so easy to do yet looks so beautiful and remains festive. It can be used as a dessert alone or on top of your desserts. I would personally use it as nibbles whilst sipping champagne and waiting for the New Year.

The Weekend Post: The Coffee and The Brunch

When I was too lazy to cook and I am just too agitated to shop, having a brunch outside is always the best option for me. I am just too excited to shop for my spring wardrobe that preparing breakfast is the last thing on my mind. So last Saturday consists of a lovely brunch, a lovelier coffee and a successful shopping trip.

AFTERNOON TEA: Marriott Hotel

As the weather was very horrible during New Year's Day and I was literally in tears because of boredom, the boyfriend decided to take me to have an afternoon tea in our local Marriott Hotel. Food is always the solution to my crankiness and grumpiness. The afternoon tea that they offer is very simple and not really extra-ordinary but it is satisfying and so filling. The quality of the food is also of high-quality and you can tell that all ingredients are fresh. Their high tea consists of fruit tarts, cakes, scones, four varieties of sandwiches and unlimited hot beverage. All are served together unlike other places in which each will be served separately. Their salmon sandwich and their fruit tart are delish. I also love the courtyard of our local Marriott as well as their fireplace. The staffs are always attentive and very pleasant. Apologies as this will be a heavily photo loaded post.
