TARTE BLiNG iT ON BLUSH PALETTE

Tarte-Bling-It-On-Blush-Palette-Review

I know it's a bit too early to probably to talk about Holiday make-ups but please indulge me just once. I just can't contain my excitement when I got hold of the new Tarte Bling It On Blush Palette. I have been dreaming of getting a blush palette from Tarte for ages and since I am going on a month holiday at the end of the year, I think this is the perfect time to get one. When I saw this palette, I didn't even think twice of getting one. I know I have to have it (classic impulsive reaction in there).

The Tarte Bling It On Blush Palette is packaged in what I could describe best like an evening clutch. It is covered in black glittered surface with gold accents. The glitter can come off and the only downside that I could say about the palette's packaging. Overall, the whole packaging is slim and compact which makes it a good choice when travelling. It does actually look very chic in my opinion and fits for the holiday season. The palette also comes with a good size mirror which gets another plus points from me.

This Tarte palette houses five full size blushes. If that does not impress you, I don't think what will. Tarte sticked with their brand ethos which is to provide wearable blushes. The blushes that comes in different shades are very wearable and will suit most skintones. I can't think of any one shade within the palette that I wouldn't wear personally. Four of the blushes are limited edition shades as well which makes the palette even more covetable. Only Dollface is a permanent shade.

With the blushes, the Tarte Bling It On Blush Palette hasn't disappoint. The blushes lives to the good quality of their individual blushes counterpart. All five blushes are easy to apply and blend on the skin. The blushes also last for more than 9 hours on me before fading. No Tarte blushes has lasted on me for full 12 hours to be honest. Saying that, the 9 hours wear time is quiet good in my books. Four of the shades (Fetching, Dollface, Prim, Smashing) has matte finish and Beaming has very small glitters on it resulting in more sheeny finish. When it comes to the value of the palette, when you get 5 individual Tarte blush palette, it equals to $110. This palette however only costs $44 which I think is a very good value. I use American dollar for the pricing as this palette is only exclusive at Sephora and I got it from the US.

What are your thoughts on the Tarte Bling It on Blush Palette?

  4. Wow, the price reduction for the blush shades when in the form of a palette is incredible - fantastic purchase, Ella! The presentation alone is gorgeous and thanks for introducing me to Tarte, I've heard the brand mentioned a couple of times since entering the blogging world, though keep forgetting the name! :)
