Celebrating Halloween has always been tricky when I was a kid. My brother's birthday falls on Halloween and instead of him being happy about it, he used to get mad and he feels different as why there's all this madness on his birthday. He hated celebrating his birthday with all the spooky costumes and it broke our hearts when he requested that he wants a normal birthday party sans the spooky costumes. Since then, we stick to celebrate the day as his birthday the normal way and try to ignore Halloween. We just get so used to it that I remain oblivious to Halloween as years go by. This year however, my colleagues organised a Halloween party. Everyone is on full spirit and I am also beyond excited. This may sound sad and so uncool but it feels like going for a trick and treat for the first time.
As much as I am very excited about dressing up, I don't want to overdo it as well as I may end up getting uncomfortable. I really don't want to feel like that as my work colleagues organise the best party there is and I don't want to miss the fun. Aside from that, I don't want to spend money on something that I will only wear once. When I spotted this Boohoo black playsuit, I know instantly that it will be perfect to what I have been looking for. It is wearable yet appropriate enough to be a Halloween costume with the right accessories. It is very comfortable to wear and the style is so chic. The sleeves is quiet long which I really dig as it flatters the length of my arms. I can also see myself wearing this jumpsuit again in the future bearing in mind that the Festive Season is just around the corner. Boohoo has also loads of amazing accessories for the Halloween whether you are going out or staying in and all for very affordable prices. The most tricky part of this post is taking the photos of the outfit as my confidence level for photos is rock bottom. I hope the few photos are not too much of a cringefest.
What are your plans come Halloween?

DeleteI think this is a great Halloween outfit! Love the playsuit. Halloween isn't a big thing here in Australia but I'm taking part of a Halloween swap with bloggers, so that's fun. :)

DeleteYou honestly have nothing to worry about lovely, you look amazing (and I'm not just saying that because I love you as a genuine blogger & one of the kindest girls I know). It's tough having self confidence, I know how you feel as I've been there & it's something I struggle with, but taking this first step is amazing so well done (you should definitely be proud of yourself). Hope you have tons of fun at the Halloween party xox
