CESKY KRUMLOV

Cesky-Krumlov

Cesky-Krumlov-Review

It is not very often that I visit a place that looks like it just came out from a postcard. That is how I felt when I visited Cesky Krumlov. It is so breathtakingly beautiful that even a crappy camera can capture its beauty although it might not give justice to its beauty. The whole town is so scenic. The old town stood untouched for more than 700 years and is now under UNESCO list or world cultural heritage. Wandering in the old cobbled street and old Gothic buildings is like a fairytale. My visit was made even perfect by dining in the Hotel Dvorak  Restaurant which has the perfect view of the Vlatava River and the magnificent old Habsburg Castle. This will be another photo-heavy posts as I think my words would not be enough to describe the place.

TOP FiVE CAFES TO ViSiT iN PRAGUE

Best-Cafe-In-Prague-Review
Following the blogger cliches and of course my love for good coffee, I hunted down several cafes in Prague. It was such a joy to try several cafes with different atmospheres. I think my weight would not really love me for it but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Prague has so many beautiful independent cafes that I wish I could visit all of them. Atleast I tried as many as I can. My list includes cafes that I think are must-try places if you happen to visit the beautiful city.

THE TRAVEL SIZES FOR A CiTY GETAWAY

Holiday-Skincare-Edit

I love travel sizes or deluxe samples. I think there is a certain element of beauty in minitures that appeals to my inner self. It is handy and doesn’t take a lot of space. I hoard samples and travel sizes all year round and I have a drawer dedicated for it. Don’t worry, I chuck them out every 12 months and replaced with new batch. It is always good to keep some as you never knew when an odd getaway will come. I will be sharing with you the travel sizes and samples that I took with me in my latest city getaway.

WHAT'S iN MY MAKE-UP BAG: iNFLiGHT EDiTiON

In-Flight-Make-Up-Edit

Today, I would be flying to Prague for a city break. I am always terrible at packing and what to bring. I always end up packing too many things. This time, I am more cautious and try to pack minimally. Still a bit much though according to the boyfriend but still lesser than usual. When I was packing for my inflight bag, I noticed that I am bringing half of what I usually carry (tap on the back for me). It's only a two-hour flight so I am not really that bothered on what to bring on my carry-on handbag.

THE WEEKENDER: CAMBRiDGE

I think Cambridge is at it's best during Autumn. It paints a very picturesque photo of the infamous city. Every now and then, I pop in to Cambridge simply because it's close to where I live. Not really that close but still relatively close. I like the laidback environment of the city and its unique vibe. I also love the fact that it is quite small despite it's a city. I can reach my favourite destinations by walking. Last weekend, Ryan and I decided to paid a visit to Cambridge. Whenever we visit the city, we always end up just sitting on our favourite spots in which we discovered along all our visits to the city. This post will be short and hopefully sweet with some photos tagged with it.

5 REASONS WHY i LOVE VENiCE

There are so many things why I love Venice. I am even contemplating of living in there. I spent 4 days in Venice which seems like quiet a long time considering how small it is but I love it. I have been exploring the city during mornings and evenings which is quiet nice as there are less people and it feels like a sleepy city. It feels like a place where I can be at home.

BEST GELATO iN ROME

As I spend most of my time hunting down and eating gelato, I think it is appropriate to have my say on what I think are the best gelaterias in Rome. The city is loitered with so many gelato corners but unfortunately, some doesn't even come to a standard of being called a true gelateria. I think the gelato business is overhyped that there are so many of them. However, a scoop or two of a sweet and flavorsome gelato is a sure way to gastronomic heaven. I'll share with you my list of which I think are the best gelato in the infamous city.

WHAT'S iN MY MAKE-UP BAG: HOLiDAY EDiTiON

Make-Up-For-Travelling

As a continuation of my last weekend's post, I will be sharing with you what make-up items that I brought with me on my holiday. It has been a very difficult task for me to choose what to bring and what not to. I want to only bring few bits but I always ended with bringing too much. I have to re-edit a few times my make-up bag until I think I've brought the appropriate amount and items. All that I brought fits in one make-up bag which I think is the right amount. I really don't want a full or heavy face make-up during the day but I want a nice make-up for evening meals.

HOLiDAY ON A BUDGET

My goal since I was young is to travel to different places. My parents always try to take me and my brother to atleast one different place every summer holidays. As I got older, I aim to travel to different country atleast once yearly as well. So far I am doing well in that area. Of course it also helps that the boyfriend is also a travel enthusiast like me. Taking a holiday however doesn't need to be expensive. There are ways to find a good price on a holiday without compromising the experience. I am quite proud to say that I have the knack to find the best deal there is available. So here are the tips that I gathered all the way from planning couple holidays to family getaways.

TRAVEL DiARiES: iNVERARAY CASTLE

Inveraray-Castle-Review

Growing up with fairytales as my bedtime reading makes me love castles like every one else. Historic castles, most especially, fascinate me with its stories and histories as well as their architectures. Inveraray castle will always be one of my favourite castles. Its location which is in top of a mountain with an idyllic village in a distance makes it more dreamy. Another thing that makes it special I guess is that it is still use by the Duke of Argyll and his family eventhough it's only a few months each year.

TRAVEL DiARiES: PARiS

Who does not want to go to Paris and most importantly, who doesn't love Paris? Paris is one of my favourite cities. I can visit Paris over and over again and I will still be amaze with it. Its beauty surpassed all minor dislikes I have with the city. I won't bore you with photos of Eiffel though I really don't mind seeing the photo of the Eiffel Tower repeatedly. It always take my breath away. Anyway, here are some snapshots I took which reminded me of pleasant memories I have with Paris.

TRAVEL DiARiES: Jardin du Versailles

Last summer, despite the heatwave, I visited France. One of the highlights of my sojourn is my visit to Versailles. There is something in it that makes it so special. Maybe its history, the gardens, the fountains or the chateau combined that makes it so captivating. The chateau and the garden covers 800 hectares approximately. Wondering how I managed to see almost all of it? I just rented a golf cart inside the garden. It costs 30euros per hour if I am not mistaken. It is a ridiculous amount of money but it helps you a lot especially when the time that I visited it, the heat is scorching. The garden also has some alfresco dining experience in which the food are just delicious. Anyway, here are some photos that I managed to snap during our trip.
