The Ivy Chelsea Garden is located in King's Road and is pretty easy to find. Ryan made a booking beforehand to make sure that we will get a table rather than dropping in and finding out there's no space for you. When we arrived we requested for a table in the garden as like what I said earlier on, seize the moment whilst the sun is out in the UK. We were quickly seated and the staffs aim to serve without you having to wait. The garden is fabulous. It is like being transported to the Mediterranean. It even has its own bar outside. The whole garden has a cosy yet elegant vibes to it. It's a place where you feel that you can relax and just enjoy a good food and good company. I would highly recommend the garden area compared to the inside sitting although the cafe looks lovely as well.
We skipped starters as Ryan and I can never finish a three course meal no matter how much we tried. We also prefer desserts over starters hands down. I ordered Chargrilled Banham with Truffle and Parmesan Chips. I did regret that as the chips are delish yet I couldn't finish it as I am already full from the scrumptious chicken. As Ryan is driving, we skipped alcohol and opted for their virgin cocktails. Both cocktails are very refreshing. For the main treat for me is the dessert. I have their infamous Chocolate Bomb which is a chocolate ball with ice cream on the inside. The chocolate ball melts and creates a bomb effect when the hot chocolate sauce is poured. The Chocolate Bomb is what dreams are made of. It has the right balance of the chocolate, caramel, and vanilla ice cream. It is just so luscious.
We really had a fab time in The Ivy Chelsea Garden. Next on our list is to try their afternoon tea. The Ivy Chelsea Garden has become my new favourite place.

DeleteWhat a gorgeous place, the concept of dining outdoors is a lovely one and reminds me of many patio meals enjoyed at National Trust places deep out in the countryside :) A truly wonderful review Ella.
