Last Summer, Bourjois released their Color Boost Lip Crayons' range with 4 new shades. Almost everyone loved it and was the talk of the summer. Those who loved it wished and hoped that Bourjois will broaden their color range as the product is really good and the shades are gorgeous. Well lovelies, our wishes has been granted. Bourjois released 2 new colours from the Color Boost range and are perfect for the fall/winter and Christmas season.
As we almost all know, the Color Boost Lip Crayons claimed that the colour will stay for 10hours. I haven't really worn them for that long but I used them and had been out for more than 6 hours and the colour is still there. It also claims that Color Boost provides a bare lip sensation and this I agree 100%. On application it feels very light on the lips and feels like you only put a moisturiser on your puckers. No matter how many times you apply it, it doesn't feel heavy on your lips. It also says that it is waterproof so I put it before going to shower just to test it and yes, it did stay ladies. Hairwash and everything, it stayed lovely on the lips. The Color Boost are also very pigmented so one or two application will give a full coverage. It also has SPF 15 which is good to give protection to the lips against sun damage.
I own all the four older shades as I really love Color Boost but won't be including them as I know that you've read, seen, and tried it several times. The two new colours are Red Island and Plum Russian. Lovely names aren't they? The Red Island is a gorgeous red hence the name. It is the perfect red colour for me. Not to light red and not to dark. Just how a red lipstick should be. The plum russian is a plumish purplish shade. Very gorgeous and can be lightened or darkened in accordance to your preferences. The packaging of the two is the same as the rest of the other Colour Boost which looks like the Clinique Chubby Sticks. Very easy to carry around and stylish but functional. The lip crayons does not need sharpening as the base can be twisted like ordinary lipsticks. As the rest of all other Color Boosts, I love these two like mad. They are £7.99 each. I think the price is good in relation to the quality of the product. You can buy it as well when there is a 3for2 offers in Boots or Superdrug which gives you more value for your money.
Till' next time :)
