THE BUDGET SHEER LiPSTiCKS

When the Body Shop Colour Crush Lipsticks arrived at my doorstep, I had quiet a mix reaction. I am a big lipstick lover that any new releases always get me so excited. On the other hand, Body Shop is not really my first destination when I am looking for make-ups so I really don't know what to expect. I am a big fan of Body Shop's skincare products but never of their make-ups. To feed my curiosity, I think after I opened the parcel, I started trying out the lipsticks.

PRETTY SHEER LiPS FOR SUMMER

I love bold colour for my lipsticks. However, bold lips can be quiet daunting for daytime use especially during summer. I really love seeing a fresh and dewy look during summer and the easiest way to finish it is with sheer lipsticks. Summer also brings sunshine and I think your make-up choices should also reflect to that vibe. Sheer lipsticks are also low-maintenance and fuss-free to use. There are plenty of sheer lipsticks in the market and I would be sharing today my favourite ones.

ZOEVA LUXE CREAM LiPSTiCK

I am generally a big fan of Zoeva more especially their brushes. My Luxe Prime Set from them remains indispensable until now. Aside from brushes, Zoeva also has cosmetics. Their cosmetics are so pretty and always a fraction of the price for other high-end brands. Their cosmetics reminds me so much of Mac. I think its because of their packaging that are almost similar. Recently, however, Zoeva started doing new palettes in which has new packaging. I think the brand doesn't want to be known as a cheaper version of Mac. Zoeva as a brand is really good and today is the release of their new Luxe Cream Lipstick Range.

BOURJOiS ROUGE EDiTiON VELVET

As usual, I am quite late in joining in the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet bandwagon. As you know, I am not the biggest fan of anything matte but lately I am starting to be a convert. I all blame it to my discovery of Clinique's Soft Matte Lipsticks. I know that this has been hyped up so much in the blogosphere but I want to give an ode to it in my blog. These liquid lipsticks are good additions to my growing matte lip products.

CLiNiQUE SOFT MATTE LiPSTiCK

During the launch of the Clinique Soft Matte Lipstick, I was not overly excited as I am not the biggest fan of matte lipsticks. However, when I saw the colour range of it, my heart skipped a beat. The colour range is gorgeous and there are some lovely bold colours. I love my lipsticks bold most of the time so that makes me lust after these lipsticks. Then, Clinique claims that their new formula of matte lipsticks are non-drying to the lips. That really got my full attention and curiosity. Who wouldn't want a matte lipstick that is moisturising at the same time?

ESTEE LAUDER PURE COLOR ENVY SCULPTING LIPSTICK

I am a big fan of Estee Lauder so when they released their Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick, I am just too excited to get my hands on them. I am in love already with their lipsticks and their lip lacquers. Estee Lauder claims that their new lipstick range has a long wear time whilst providing hydration to your lips. That is just good news to me as no matter how I hydrate my lips it remains dry. The new range has 20 new colours to choose from ranging from nudes to bold colours.

ESTEE LAUDER HOT LAVA

As Valentine's day is coming near, all I can think of is red colour. It may sound silly but my mind just works that way. I always associate colours with events or season. Talking about red, my favourite lipstick as of the moment is Estee Lauder's Hot Lava. It's from their Pure Colour Vivid Shine Lipstick Range.

REVLON COLORBURST LACQUER BALM

There's a new chubby stick lip colour in town which is the Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm. Revlon released matte ones as well but as I am obsessed with high-shine lip products, I personally chose the lacquers over the matte balms. I only purchased one shade as of the moment I want to test it first and if I will like it, I will go to purchase more. So when I was browsing their wide range of colours, I decided to try Ingenue. The colour Ingenue is a nude brown and absolutely pretty. I just adore it. I have no lip product which gives the same colour as this one.

COLOUR ME ROSE

I was looking at my lipstick collection the other day and I noticed that most of them are bright and bold. A sudden urge to buy some neutral shades just kick-in and I, being me, impulsively bought some. I tried several neutral shades and came to a conclusion that rose-hued lipsticks suits me best. It is not too pale for my colouring so it still gives a good colour to my lips. I admit that I may have gone just a bit overboard as I purchased 3 rose-coloured lipsticks at the same time.

NEW BOURJOiS COLOR BOOST LiP CRAYONS

Last Summer, Bourjois released their Color Boost Lip Crayons' range with 4 new shades. Almost everyone loved it and was the talk of the summer. Those who loved it wished and hoped that Bourjois will broaden their color range as the product is really good and the shades are gorgeous. Well lovelies, our wishes has been granted. Bourjois released 2 new colours from the Color Boost range and are perfect for the fall/winter and Christmas season.

CLiNiQUE BLACK HONEY

This black honey gift set was purchased a few days back on an impulse and was lying untouched in my bag. I think my brain just want to forget about it due to the guilt of spending money again when I just want to save for Christmas. Anyway, so much for guilt tripping, I found it last night and what a joy it gives me. Its like finding an unexpected present. Haha The black honey gift set comes with the full size black honey almost lipstick, 5 ml nail lacquer, lip balm and  sample size mascara.

OCTOBER FAVOURiTES

November has arrived and I was determined to do monthly favourites so here are the products that made it to my October top list:

Mac Candy Yum Yum- I hate matte lipstick but I just couldn't resist its colour. I know its too bright for autumn/winter but you can still get away with it during nights outs with subtle smokey eye. Or if you are like me who likes bold colour on your lips, this lipstick is also perfect for everyday wear.But remember, its matte so thus who dislikes dry feeling on their lips my advice is to avoid this :)
