HELLO CHEEKBONES

Clinique-Hello-Cheekbones-Review

As a fan of contouring but never good at it, I am always on the lookout for new contouring products that will make my life & contouring easier. When Clinique anounced their new Hello Cheekbones collection, I am quiet excited to see what the brand has to offer. Clinique's Hello Cheekbones aims to offer two easy ways to enhance the bone structure that we are born with. In other words, it's contouring and highlighting made easy.

The main products for Clinique Hello Cheekbones* are the Sculptionary Contouring Pallet, Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour, and the Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight. The Sculptionary Sculpting Palette comes in 4 shades which are Defining Nectars, Defining Roses, Defining Berries, and Defining Nudes. All 4 palettes works the same way but the difference is the different shades of the blush. The pallet is a tri-toned compact which consists of one blush, one contour, and one highlighter. You can use them separately for a well-sculpted cheeks or you can swirl around your to all three shades to get a nice flush and glow-y cheeks. I personally use it together as the three shades just combine so well and gives a unique but natural colour on my cheeks. It is like you made a lot of effort in your blush but you actually don't. It is like blush in a rush but with a very well-put together finish.

The Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight comes in the shade Hefty Highlight. What I like about this is that I can just apply it easily without having to use any brushes. It is like highlighter on the go. You can just basically carry it with you as you can re-apply it with ease anytime and anywhere. It is champagne-y with a hint of pinkness to it and is shimmery without being over the top. As it has a hint of pink to it, it appears more natural on the cheeks whilst still giving you the right glow. The Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour is what I am most excited with amongst all the products in the collection. It is contouring made super easy for everyone. You just basically apply it to where you want to contour and blend it in. It is also good as a bronzer to warm up your complexion. A word of caution, you should apply it lightly first and work your way according to your preference on how much you really need to contour those lovely cheekbones.

Overall, Clinique Hello Cheekbone is a really good collection and is worth trying for especially if you are looking for an easy-peasy way to highlight and contour. The whole range is available online and in all Clinique counters nationwide on the 6th of February. Till' next time :)

  5. I like the idea of the Chubby Stick Contour and Highlight Set. I like cream type contours as sometimes these blend out much smoother into foundation. The champagne tone of the highlighter sounds gorgeous :) xx
