January is the time when I usually feel so poor due to the sales. This time however, no sales had me so convinced to spend some money. Safe to say, my bank balance is quiet happy and so am I. On the other note but still related, I have been lusting seriously over the Charlotte Tilbury Color Coded Palette. Last Christmas, Santa has been really generous and the Dolce Vita has been wrapped up nicely for me.
The packaging alone on the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette is so dreamy. The deep-maroon compliments really well with the rose gold rivets. The inside is more beautiful as the rose gold is more dominant. Photos don't do any justice to the beauty of the Dolce Vita. I think the main beauty of the palette lies in two of its shades. The top right which has no name but to be used to enhance per instruction is a gorgeous warm copper. I have never encountered an eyeshadow like this shade. It is a copper-y shade but has a reddish undertone to it. It is really gorgeous. The second selling point to me is the pressed gold glitters which is the bottom left. It is more of a warm gold with brown undertones which makes it quiet unique to me as well as most pressed gold glitters have yellowish undertone. The eyeshadow are so soft and buttery on the eyes. It also lasts well and doesn't crease which I already expect considering the £38 price tag.
Overall, the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette rates very highly for me. If you would only want to purchase one beauty item this month, make sure it will be Dolce Vita and you will not regret it. Till' next time :)
