The Chanel Jersey Blush came as a nice gift last Christmas. I am always lusting over Chanel cosmetics but for some unknown reasons I don't own any of their blushes. I am forever smitten with Chanel like millions of ladies around the globe. Finding one under the tree with my name on it is reason enough to be delighted.
The Chanel Jersey Blush is packaged in the brand's signature sleek black packaging with the Chanel logo on it. The shade just come out recently, perhaps two to three months ago, and is part of the permanent shade for the range. It also has a velvet pouch in which I used to get annoyed before. Very recently I learned that these pouches actually help to prevent the cosmetic packaging from getting scratches so I will be saving this pouch for travelling purposes. Going back to Jersey, it is a beautiful peach-y brown with very subtle gold shimmers. The subtle shimmers gives the blush a satin finish and a beautiful glow. Even on daytime or direct light, the shimmers are not visible which is amazing and unbelievable. The blush just looks so natural on the cheeks.It is warm-tone brown with a peach-y sheen. The pigmentation is really good and is a joy to apply. On application, the blush is soft and silky. It also blends easily and beautifully. The wear time is also good which lasts for more than 6 hours. It is one of those blushes that just looks so natural on the cheeks yet so beautiful.
Overall, I really love the Chanel Jersey Blush. It is stunning for daily use and to tone down bold lips or smokey eyes. Till' next time :)
