THE CREAM EYESHADOW EDiT

Best-Cream-Eyeshadow-Review

I am a big fan of cream eyeshadows. It has a certain allure to it that always get my attention. It is easy to apply and no fuss. You can use it alone, as a base/primer for your eyeshadow, or combined two together. The possibilities are endless with the cream eyeshadows. Its glass packaging is another aspect that makes it so enticing to me. Today, I will be sharing my favourite cream eyeshadows that will fit all budget.

First stop, the most affordable and easy to get hold to is the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo. When it was released, I fell inlove with the range so bad that I think I had all shades. My top favourites amongst the range are Pink Gold and On and On Bronze. It is so creamy and the pigmentation is really good. It also lasts really well. I use it as a primer as well and it helps preventing my eyeshadows to crease and make it lasts really long. Another affordable one yet not easily accesible is the Kiko Supreme Cream Eyeshadow. I have the shade 01 Posh Crystal Rose as the range has only four colours which is a shame to be quiet honest. The texture is insane with this eyeshadow. It is so soft like butter and is a dream go apply on the eyelids. Its staying power is also really good. You can sheer or layer it up according to your preference. The next stop is everyone's favourite which is the Mac Paint Pot. Mac Paint Pot is middle-priced for £15 each. There is a variety of finishes and a huge selection of shades to choose from. My personal favourites are Frozen Violet, Rubenesque, and Bare Study. Bare Study is brilliant as a primer for any make-up look. A surprise and what I almost use daily is the Clarins Cream-to-Powder Matte Eyeshadow. Like what its name suggest, when applied, it gives a powder finish which never fails to amaze me. It is so beautiful and I often use Nude Beige and Taupe together for a smokey eye look. If you are looking for luxurious cream eyeshadow, the Chanel Illusion de'Ombre Long-Wear Luminous Eyeshadow should be your top choice. A bit expensive but also really wonderful. The eyeshadow texture is more of a gel but when applied, it feels like cream on the eyelids. I have the shade Illusiore  in which I got using my Boots points. The shade is quiet unique as it appears purply-mauvy but it has a taupe undertone. It is gorgeous on the eyelids. It also wears for more thay 10 hours and doesn't crease, move, or smudge. It is a real stunner and with a very good quality which is quiet good as it comes in a steep pricetag.

So these are my top choices for cream eyeshadows. I haven't included those that are in stick form as I will be making a separate post for them as they have a different packaging and different application method. Till' next time :)
