When the Clarins True Radiance Foundation landed on my doorstep, I was very excited to try it. The promise of a dewy finish is a bait that always catch my attention. During the hot weather, I don't usually wear foundations. But as the days are getting colder, foundations are having a comeback in my life. I am also quiet picky with my foundation and I only have a few favourites. I don't even keep the foundation tha I don't like. Trialling the Clarins one is quiet tricky as I am quiet happy with my current favourites. However, the claim that the True Radiance Foundation is a cocktail of both skincare and make-up benefits makes me want to try it immediately.
The Clarins True Radiance Foundation* is a re-formulation of their old one. It now has SPF 15 instead of 10. It is not much that you can get away with being photograph without looking like a ghost. On application, it is easily blended and gives a medium coverage which can be built up to a full coverage. Despite that it offers a good coverage, Clarins True Radiance Foundation feels very light in the skin that it almost feels like you are not wearing a foundation. It also doesn't look cake-y even if you layer it up. It has a good dewy finish and gives a good glow to the complexion without looking like a disco ball. Even if it has a dewy finish, it doesn't contain any shimmer. It just gives a good glow like from within. The foundation contains Moringa Seed extracts, White Tea, and Succory Duck-Cress extracts which helps prevent polution and free radicals to settle in the skin. It is really good especially if you are living in a metropolitan city or somewhere which is a hot spot of pollution. Since I started using this foundation, my skin feels good and relaxed even with daily use. I often find my skin red and blotchy after remiving my make-up but this foundation seems to treat my skin as its bestfriend. Aside from these beautiful attributes, the True Radiance Foundation lasts very well on the skin eventhough it has a dewy finish. Without primer it stays for more than 8 hours which is really impressive. The packaging is also rave-worthy as it comes in a pretty glass bottle. It is transparent so you can see how much foundation you got left which is always handy as I don't want to be caught surprise that there's none left.
Overall, the good quality and the skincare benefits of the Clarins True Radiance Foundation make it my favourite foundation ever. I am so happy to discover a foundation that doesn't break me out and offers a good coverage with skincare benefits. Till' next time :)
