CHiC NEW YEAR'S EVE NAiLS

New Year's Eve is another time of the year in which I go crazy about. This year however will be just quiet and simple. It will be just be Ryan and I. We want to start the year calmly as the Festive Season has been pretty manic. Whether you are going out or just staying in, I have a very simple New Year's Eve nails inspiration. My very first nail tutorial which is really pretty easy. I am quiet a novice when it comes to nail art so I always opt for simple ones.

SiMPLE NEW YEAR'S EVE DESSERT iDEA

I know that most of us are still in food coma and before we can recover, New Year's Eve is just a few days ahead. At the moment, I just want a break from the rich and decadent Christmas food. I just want something that is somewhat refreshing yet still worthy to be displayed on the table. Whilst on Pinterest, I saw several dessert ideas and what really caught my attention is the Cherries Dipped in White Chocolate. It is so easy to do yet looks so beautiful and remains festive. It can be used as a dessert alone or on top of your desserts. I would personally use it as nibbles whilst sipping champagne and waiting for the New Year.

HOW 'BOUT THEM APPLES?

As the cold weather is here, most days are grey and wet. Little perk me up always brighten up my day. You know, those beautiful things that makes the cold days more bearable. The Balm has some really good products and despite my issues with their packaging, you can't deny that the brand has some really good products.

15 FESTiVE FAVOURiTES TAG

The lovely Alina from Beauty with Charm tagged me to do the 15 Festive Favourites Tag. I rarely do tags but I think this one is too good to pass. I love anything to do with Christmas, this tag included, and I really enjoyed answering the 15 questions. I even answered the tag with Christmas songs playing on the background, thanks to Spotify. I know that it's a bit OTT but hey ho, it's Christmas.

WiNTER HEROES

The cold weather is turning freezing and everything seems dark and grey. Aside from being cold, wet, and miserable, we also suffer from dry skin, to dry hands, to lackluster face. I have compiled some products that I consider as winter saviours. These products helps me get through winter without my skin really suffering that bad and making cold days a bit brighter. Some winter saviours that puts a little ray of sunshine in the gloomy winter days.

BREAKFAST with a VIEW

Last week, Ryan and I took a visit to Duck and Waffles. The last time we've been was I think a year ago which seems like yesterday to be quiet honest. We always enjoy their breakfast and lunch. The view from Duck and Waffle is spectacular as it is located in the 40th floor of Heron Tower. During our latest visit, London decided to be foggy so the view is somewhat hidden by the thick fog.

Limited Edition releases, most especially during Christmas time, are I think the best releases in the entire year. It is also one of the most exciting times for beauty fanatics. With all the Limited Edition Christmas releases that I failed to avoid, I draw up a list of my top favourites. Choosing my top five is such a task as there are so many beautiful things to choose from.

DRUGSTORE GEMS #2

It's been quiet a long time since I posted about my first drugstore gems. This is the second round in which I will talk about the drugstore finds that are absolute gems. Some of them are long time favourites and some are new discoveries. I do not include products in which I did full reviews. So here are my latest drugstore gems.

SNOW iN HOGWARTS

Last weekend, Ryan surprised me by taking me to the Harry Potter Studio. I am one of the biggest Harry Potter fan since the first released of the film. I used to binged-read the Harry Potter books. I have also been dying to go to the studio but I just can't seem to find the time. Ryan, somehow, chose the best time to visit the studio. He knows I love Christmas so the festive ambience of the studio is another plus factor. This post will be photo-heavy, my apologies in advance but I hope you will enjoy.

I guess the news about Tom Ford Lip and Boy Collection almost broke the internet for the beauty fanatics. The collection consists of 50 limited edition miniature-sized lipsticks. The limited edition bit is the biggest covet-enducing words for me. The collection will launch on 25th of December but Selfridges had a one day pre-launched sale of the collection last December 1. I've got some shades from the collection although I would love to have some more.

ALL ABOUT THAT BLUSH

Make-Up Revolution has truly revolutionise the beauty world since their first appearance. I have some real favourites from the brand and blogged about products that I truly love. When I thought that they could not not surpass the goodness of their blush sticks, the brand brought something new again on the table. Can I just give a big kudos to the people behind Make-Up Revolution as you are real geniuses.

So you must be gasping at all the Chirstmas-y post that is flooding your timeline nowadays and here I am to join the bandwagon. I am so sorry. I am a big fan of Christmas and it never fails to excite me. No matter how busy I am, I always try to be in a festive mood. I think that red nails is most appropriate during this time of the year.

All items are less than £15 and most are less than £10. We don't have to give expensive gifts. It's the thoughts that accounts, cliche as it may sound.

Since I used the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer, I became so obsessed with the brand. Of course the brand is more coveatable in the past as you cannot easily get hold of their products easily in the UK. Like thousands of make-up lovers, I am so glad that the tide has now change and the Balm's products are now easily available in our side of the planet.
