HOURGLASS AMBiENT LiGHTiNG POWDER
I am not a big fan of matte-fying powder or powder generally. When I heard about Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, I am really hesitant to join the fanatic bandwagon. But then each time a saw a video or read an article about how lovely it is, I am starting to get swayed into buying it. Hourglass has 6 colours to choose from for its Ambient Lighting Powder. The idea is that its lighting colour to help you with your needs, from highlighting to concealing. The powder will works of how light will reflect to your skin. Seriously, this Lighting Powder involves a lot of science and genius whilst they are making this.

TRAVEL DiARiES: Jardin du Versailles
Last summer, despite the heatwave, I visited France. One of the highlights of my sojourn is my visit to Versailles. There is something in it that makes it so special. Maybe its history, the gardens, the fountains or the chateau combined that makes it so captivating. The chateau and the garden covers 800 hectares approximately. Wondering how I managed to see almost all of it? I just rented a golf cart inside the garden. It costs 30euros per hour if I am not mistaken. It is a ridiculous amount of money but it helps you a lot especially when the time that I visited it, the heat is scorching. The garden also has some alfresco dining experience in which the food are just delicious. Anyway, here are some photos that I managed to snap during our trip.

JAPONESQUE: LiP LACQUER
If you have been following my blog for quiet a while, you may know by now that I am obsessed with lip lacquers. The lip lacquer that I recently got is from the brand Japonesque. Japonesque has been around for 25 years but has been creating make-up accessories, like make-up brushes, only. Recently, I think the brand has a new owner and started to expand on cosmetics. I just recently discovered about the brand to be honest. I discovered it whilst browsing the internet and just caught my attention. The Japonesque Pro Performance Lip Lacquer retails exclusively in John Lewis.

GUEST POST: Naked Palette 3
Happy Christmas everyone! Today, I have a very special post for you. It is written by one of the loveliest lady I have known. Her name is Frederica but she is more well-known as @delicatewhimsy_ in instagram. Her make-up collection is to die for and her photos are gorgeous. I considered my self very lucky that she agreed to guest write for my blog. So, without further ado, here is her post.

WAHACA
Wahaca has been like one of my favourite restaurant. I discovered it a few months back and has been a regular since then. The Wahaca I often visit is situated in the The Street of Westfield Stratford. Wahaca offers Mexican Street style food. When you go inside the restaurant, it feels like you are transported to the streets of Mexico. Their tagline is Mexican Street Market. The decors has a Mexican side-street style. It is well organised but the interior is cheeky, quirky, and artistic. They said not to judge the book by its cover but when it comes to food, I always associate the look of the place to the taste of the food. I've been sold to Wahaca just by its interior self. It has a hippy vibe and you really feel like you are dining alfresco despite you are inside.

LUSH POPCORN LiP SCRUB
There has been plenty of posts lately about how to make DIY lip scrubs and I always put it in my To Do List but always fail to make one. So I was passing by Lush the other day and an idea pop in my mind. I can buy a lip scrub instead of making one. A great excuse for my laziness. At the moment, Lush has 4 flavoured lip scrubs each retailing £5.50. The flavours are Bubblegum, Mint Julips, Popcorn and the Christmas limited edition Santa Baby. I had a hard time choosing which should I have as all are lovely and tastes delicious. I ended with the Popcorn flavoured one.

BENEFiT EYE BRiGHT PENCiL
I am never a fan of eyeliner as I feel that it makes my eyes smaller. I am also never comfortable in wearing them. It feels like that when I am applying it, there is a big tendency that I will poke my eyes. It is also very uncomfortable for me that I will be left being tearful. I then discover that wearing a nudish shade of eyeliner enhance my brown eyes and makes it look wider and more awake. I feel terribly in love from then on with nude eyeliners. So much that I love it that I endure all the discomfort and battle my slight fear for them. Haha. Looking for a good nude eyeliner, I then discovered the Benefit Eye Bright Pencil.

YSL LE TEiNT TOUCHE ECLAT
When I mustered my courage to try liquid foundation a few months ago, I take the advise of the pros which is to have your skin match for your correct shade. Before buying as well, I searched the internet high and low for one of the best foundation to use. As I am already a fan of the YSL Touche Eclat, I then decided that maybe YSL's new foundation which is the Le Teint Touche Eclat will be my first foundation. I then went into one of their counters and has been matched with my shade. From then on, I never looked back.

THE BALM Mary Lou Manizer
I have heard a lot of nice things about The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer. It is difficult to hold of as The Balm retails sparsely in the UK. I was searching where to buy it when I accidentally stumble upon Amazon where it can be delivered the next day. Without thinking twice, I bought it immediately (impulse buyer alert). I was very excited when it arrive, and oh boy, it did not disappoint.

PRiMER SERiES: MAC Skin Visage
I will start my primer series with Mac Prep and Prime Skin Visage as this is the first primer that I own. I got a sample of this, 2 or 3 years ago and fell in love with it and bought the full size after finishing it. This primer is silicone base and very smooth to apply. It has light reflecting particles that I can describe as eensy weensy glitters. These particles reflects light thus giving you a glow-y look after putting on the foundation. It doesn't look very glittery, don't worry. It gives the right amount of shine to achieve a perfect dewy look. As it has light reflecting particles, this primer is best to use with dewy finished foundation than matte ones.

FiRST of DECEMBER
At the beginning of this year, I started living on my own in a one bedroom flat and since then, all I could think of is how on earth am I going to put Christmas decors with the space that I have and the things that I already own. When November arrives, I started feeling depressed as I have to accept that a six feet Christmas tree will be no way possible to belong in my flat. Stubborn as I am, I would not settle for smaller Christmas trees. Then two weeks ago, I was food shopping in Marks and Spencer with the boyfriend when I saw their slim 6 feet tree. I swear, I could almost do cartwheels with happiness. I went home, measure the space that I have and went back to M&S to purchase the tree as its measurement perfectly fits my lounge. I then shop around for Christmas decors and found lovely stuffs both from M&S and Next. I decided that my Christmas decors will be gold-themed as I just adore them as of the moment. As I always believe, if there is a will, there is a way. Anyway, here are some decent photos of my decors that I manage to all put up since last night and this morning.
