When Diptyque released their skincare range, it received a mixed review. Some are good and some are not. Apparently, there as few misses and their are also hits in their products. The Diptyque Cleansing Balm received good reviews and some awesome recommendations. As a big fan of Diptyque, I really want to try their skincare line but I don't want to really waste my money. We all know that Diptyque products doesn't really come cheap. So after some research, I jumped the bandwagon and got the cleansing balm.
The cleansing balm is packaged in a matte white tub. It has a Diptyque marking all over. The cleansing balm has a floral smell which is really expected as Diptyque specialises on fragrances. Note that I am quiet worried about the floral scent. As much as I love beautiful scents, my sensitive skin doesn't agree to it. When applied, the balm melts to the skin really well. It feels so luxurious and beautiful to the skin. The cleansing balm just melts nicely to the skin. It removes my make-up beautifully as well. Despite that it is fragranced, my skin did not really react to it. It leaves my skin feeling so soothe and nourished. You also don't need to put too much as a little will really do its magic. I asked my boyfriend to try it (he is a skincare freak) and he really loves it. He kept on asking for it whenever he is around. Haha!
I really want to hate my self as the Diptyque Cleansing Balm is quiete expensive but I really love it. When it runs out, I will be really torn into half as I know the price is steep but it is also really good. Overall, this cleansing balm has been a permanent fixture in my evening skincare routine. Till' next time :)

It's £44 a pot and I have a sensitive skin but it works well for me. Xx
DeleteThis looks so luxurious. You always make me want to buy something.
ReplyDeleteYay! Go and get one beaut. Xx
DeleteWell, I think that a cleansing balm that costs 44£ must be a great product! I would be very upset if I spent all that money and without being completely satisfied!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! But we all know that not all expensive brands deliver. Xx
DeleteI think this looks beautiful - have you used Emma Hardie? How does it compare? x
ReplyDeleteI haven't really tried the Emma Hardie cleansing balm, so I cannot really compare. Sorry. Xx
DeleteI always think that, it's okay to spend little more on products that makes me feel FAB.
